T-Mobile Austria is upgrading all customers with 100 Mbps LTE tariffs to 150 Mbps speeds at no extra charge, Telecompaper reports. Users need CAT4-enabled end devices to use the higher speeds, including the Home Net router, Samsung Galaxy S5 or Sony Xperia Z2. Customers being upgraded are those using Smart Net Unlimited XL, Home Net XL, Stick Net L, Tab Net XL tariffs or the United Internet LTE 6 GB option. T-Mobile currently covers 2.1 million people across Austria with LTE, serving around 1.5 million with the new 150 Mbps speed.
