The Russian federal radio frequencies commission (SRFC) says it will make a decision on a tender for two bands in the 2,570-2,620-MHz range, reports Telecompaper, citing Vedomosti. Two 20-MHz bands, due to be used for this purpose, are currently being used by pay-TV operators on the MMDS standard, and will be allocated for LTE services.
