Qualcomm has announced its next- generation mobile processors for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 tier, the Sna-pdragon 810 and 808 processors, Lteworld.org reported on Monday, explaining that both the Snapdragon 810 and Snapdragon 808 processors integrate Qualcomm Technologies’ 4th Generation Cat 6 LTE Advanced multimode m-odem, with support for Qualcomm RF360 Front End Solution, and 3x20-MHz Carrier Aggregation, for speeds of up to 300-Mbps.

The Snapdragon 810 and 808 processors are Qualcomm Technologies highest performing platform to date, com-pleting the company’s 64-bit, LTE-equipped, chipset lineup for premium mobile computing devices. Both processors are designed in the 20-nm technology node with Cat 6 LTE, advanced multimedia features, and 64-bit capability. S-napdragon 810 and 808 are expected to begin sampling in the second half of 2014 and to be available in commer-cial devices by the first half of 2015.
