Telenor Norway has extended its 4G coverage to 140 towns, Telecompaper.com reported on Monday, quoting Bjorn Amundsen, its director of coverage as saying that they are concentrating on providing the best mobile internet reception to holiday resorts and that many places along the coast have good LTE coverage.

There are 150 base stations with the 800-MHz band in more than 50 towns, with 800 new stations to follow in the coming weeks. The most popular ski resorts have good outdoor reception and most cabins have good indoor coverage as well, Amundsen said.
