Telecom Italia has invested 11 million euros ($15.17 million) in Verona to roll out faster fixed and mobile broadband networks. The operator brought its FTTC service to 103,000 buildings, laying 291km of fiber to connect 590 street cabinets.

Over 220,000 households can now access its Ultra Internet service at up to 30 Mbps. Its LTE network has also been expanded to 100 percent of the population, offering speeds of up to 100 Mbps. A total 47 4G base stations were deployed.
