Megafon starts LTE in Stavropol
Russia’s mobile operator Megafon has initiated LTE services in the Stavropol region, Telecompaper.com reports, noting that it is accessible in Stavropol, Pyatigorsk and Mikhaylovsk, covering around 80 percent of these cities.
The operator plans to increase coverage to 98 percent by the end of June. Up to 100-Mbps is accessible. Megafon started an LTE modem promotion in the region, offering the devices for 1 ruble with a subscription for unlimited Internet services. It has a total 60 models of end-user devices supporting LTE.
