Yota providing mobile voice services in Moscow and beyond
Russian Long Term Evolution (LTE) provider Yota has announced that it has started mobile voice services in Moscow, the greater Moscow area, St Petersburg, and Leningrad Oblast, Telegeography.com reports.
The service provider previously had a data-only service via dongles, tablets and hotspots, and will now be selling the service on an online-only basis, rather than through traditional retail outlets.
A Yota smartphone user can get unlimited on-net calls, data access, SMS, and 300 minutes of calls to other Russian networks for RUB750 ($20.8) per month, with subsequent use priced at RUB2.5 per minute. The service will eventually be extended to other regions.
