Movistar Peru announces 4G LTE connection-sharing service
Movistar Peru reports that it has a product called \'Multichip 4G\' available exclusively under the Vuela tariff plan, Telecompaper.com tells us, adding that its users can share mobile data traffic included in their Vuela tariff plan with up to three devices, such as tablets, USB modems, or laptops, in addition to their smartphones.
Customers can also access the Internet from these devices simultaneously with the service currently available around Lima, the country’s capital. A launch promotion allows Multichip 4G free of charge for the first four months after activation, after which time, Multichip 4G users will be charged PEN9.90 ($3.5) a month.
