US, Korea, Japan to account for 78% of LTE users by end of Q2
The US, South Korea and Japan are expected to account for 78 percent of global LTE subscribers by the end of the second quarter, 2014, Telecompaper.com reports, citing a study by Market Intelligence & Consulting Institute (MIC).
According to the consultancy firm, worldwide LTE subscribers will reach 205 million by the end of the second quarter. LTE subscribers in Japan reached 40 million while Korea\'s hit 30 million in May 2014, according to MIC. In Asia, there are 58 commercial LTE networks deployed in 24 countries.
