Vodafone Czech Republic says in a release on its website that it intends to participate in three-way discussions on possible sharing and consolidation of 2G, 3G and 4G LTE mobile networks with rival Czech carriers T-Mobile and O2, reports Telegeography.com.

The UK-backed operator indicated that analysis of possible business models of mobile network sharing/consolidation will be conducted by external consultants based on information provided by all three operators.

After this analysis each operator shall decide whether to continue participating in the proposed project. If deciding to continue with the network collaboration, commercial negotiations would be launched with the aim of reaching agreement on financial and legal terms of the cooperation.

Vodafone noted that during the analysis phase, operators shall continue in their previously planned network development activities.
