Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) has introduced its voice and mobile messaging application, named “HyppMe”, which provides voice, instant messaging, and SMS over IP, with call through functionality utilizing TM’s WiFi infrastructure, with secondary premise over current mobile data on 3G and soon on LTE, reports Telecompaper.com.

HyppMe offers free calls and messaging for HyppMe users, as well as between Telekom Malaysia fixed-line numbers nationwide and the Telekom Malaysia Customer Support number. HyppMe users can make voice calls at MYR 0.08 ($0.02) per minute and send SMS at MYR 0.05 per text message to other mobile networks.

The HyppMe mobile app is currently available for free download from Apple Appstore and Google Play. Users can instantly use net calls (HyppMe to HyppMe) and IM services with the application. In addition, HyppMe provides a prepaid subscription package for off net calls and SMS.
