Two international telecoms operators have expressed interest in participating in the spectrum auction of 4G frequencies, Telecompaper.com reported on July 9, 2014. The government has recently announced that it expects to award spectrum for the provision of 4G LTE services during 2014. The government also said that the tender will be open for existing operators and new entrants. Paraguay\'s current mobile operators are Tigo, Claro, Personal and Vox.
