Magyar Telekom’s LTE mobile Internet service has become available as a major part of the holiday sites around Balaton following its LTE network development, Telecompaper.com reported on Aug 5, 2014. As a result of the expansion of the LTE network, LTE mobile Internet has become accessible at 26 popular holiday sites at Balaton since early August. Magyar Telekom’s LTE network is available in 13 cities along the northern coastline, for example Keszthely, Balatonfured and Balatonalmadi. The benefits of the large bandwidth can also be enjoyed at 13 holiday sites along the southern coastline. Due to developments, external residential coverage will reach close to 80 percent in the Balaton area by the end of the summer.

As a result of the expansion of the network, Magyar Telekom’s LTE mobile Internet service will be available at 219 settlements by the end of August, and the national external residential coverage will reach 53.5 percent.
