Russian mobile operator MTS has expanded LTE coverage fivefold in the Stavropol region since its launch four months ago, Telecompaper.com reported on Aug 9, 2014. Around 1.2 million residents in 14 cities and towns can currently access the network. Services have been recently launched in Kislovodsk, Budyonnovsk, Svetlograd, Zelenokumsk, Izobilny, Ipatovo, Neftekumsk, Georgiyevsk and Novoaleksandrovsk.
