Telenor Norway said the Nokia Lumia 930 and LG G3 entered its top ten best-selling smartphones list from all its sales channels in July, Telecompaper.com reported on Aug 12, 2014. Rankings were, from first to tenth: the Apple iPhone 5S, the Samsung Galaxy S5, the Sony Xperia Z2, the Galaxy S4 4G+, the Galaxy Trend Plus, the HTC One M8, the Lumia 930, the Xperia Z1 Compact, the iPhone 5C and the LG G3.

Telenor Norway said its customers sent 425 million SMS and 8.9 million MMS in July. Some 93 sites began 4G operations during the month. The company said 72.1 percent of its customers own a smartphone and about 34.8 percent, or 1.1 million, have one that supports LTE. Telenor said data traffic in July was up 118 percent from the same month in 2013, partly because of the FIFA World Cup. During the final between Argentina and Germany, traffic was 75 percent higher than on a normal day. Customers are reaching the mobile internet allowance included in their subscriptions more quickly than ever before.
