South Africa\'s Vodacom Business has extended its LTE offerings to cater to small businesses with Vodacom Broadband Connect LTE, Telecompaper.com reported on Aug 13, 2014. The service is designed to support companies with up to four employees by providing affordable access to high-speed connectivity in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town. Broadband Connect LTE is a fixed-wireless broadband technology designed to deliver internet access via a Wi-Fi router to personal computers, laptops, tablets and mobile phones at speeds up to three times faster than 3G, IT-Online reported.

Small businesses benefit from a more robust and secure network. This bypasses some of the traditional issues presented by ADSL such as cable theft and signals affected by harsh weather conditions.

For cost-conscious SMEs, Broadband Connect LTE provides affordable internet access from which value-added services such as cloud computing can bring real business value at an “attractive” price. It also has the capability for seamless VoIP, which results in up to 30-percent savings on telephone calls.

Vodacom Broadband Connect LTE is available on various Monthly Allowance Options with either a 12-month or 24-month contract.
