Polish mobile operator Polkomtel, operating network Plus and satellite TV operator Cyfrowy Polsat announced a promotion under their joint program smartDOM, Telecompaper.com reported on Aug 15, 2014. On the occasion of the FIVB World Cup of Men\'s Volleyball Poland 2014, the family package Rodzinny HD, with 53 channels (including seven in HD), from Cyfrowy Polsat will cost 9.90 zloty a month (a discount of 10 zloty) and will provide access to all matches of the World Cup. The promotion applies to each customer who buys or uses already one of the services of Plus or Cyfrowy Polsat with a subscription of at least 49.90 zloty: Plus Abonament, Plus Mix or Internet Power LTE. The TV package will be free over the first three months.

As a result of the TV promotion, all packages offered within the program smartDOM will be cheaper. For example, Internet Power LTE with TV from Cyfrowy Polsat will cost 69.80 zloty a month, and the Plus Abonament with unlimited calls and SMS to all mobile networks and data package of 0.5 GB with the TV package Rodzinny HD will cost 59.89 zloty. Customers who use the promotion will get access to all of the more than 100 matches of the Volleyball World Cup, which will start on August 30 with the Poland-Serbia match at the National Stadium in Warsaw.

In the future, subscribers of the Rodzinny TV package will get access to Polsat Sport, Polsat Sport Extra and many other sporting events. The matches of the World Cup will be provided to all subscribers of the satellite TV without additional fees, which means availability to 3.5 million Polish households (about 11 million people).
