Russian mobile operator Vimpelcom, working under the Beeline brand, announced that it has started the second stage of its LTE network expansion, Telecompaper.com reported on Aug 15, 2014. The network has already been deployed in the city of Nizhny-Novgorod. LTE services from the operator will launch in Ufa, Vladivostok, Novosibirsk, Grozny, Nalchik, Kemerovo, Naberezhnye-Chelny, Tyumen, Nizhnevartovsk, Novy-Urengoy, Novokuznetsk, Orenburg, Penza, Tula as well as other cities soon. The initial deadline for the start of the second phase was originally mid-autumn this year. LTE services from Beeline are currently accessible in 23 regions across the country.
