Elisa plans 99% LTE coverage
Estonian cellular operator Elisa says it is embarking on a two-year network rollout program in conjunction with equipment partner Huawei which will see 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) services made available to 99% of the country’s population, Telegeography.com reports on Oct 13, 2014. The cellco says it presently has 77,300 LTE subscribers, having launched over a 800MHz system in April 2012 and adding a 1800MHz/2600MHz network in February 2013.
