Telegeography has reported that 3G/4G networks have been deployed on the RER, the underground railway system which serves Paris and its suburbs, by SFR, France\'s second largest telecom operator and the Regie Autonome des Transports Parisiens (RATP). A joint press release stated that SFR service users in the main stations, platforms and tunnels on the RER\'s Line A can now access the Internet via the operator\'s HSPA+ and LTE networks.
