The Instituto Dominicano de las Telecomunicaciones (Indotel) has resumed its tender for frequencies in the 941-MHz-960-MHz, 1710-MHz-1755-MHz and 2110-MHz-2155-MHz spectrum for wireless telecoms services in the Dominican Republic, Telegeography.com reported on Wednesday.

The regulator originally thought of making them available back in October 2011, but now says via an Indotel press release that the auction, scheduled for April 21, 2014, is open to international bidders. Indotel expects to grant the license within 30 days of its announcement of the winners.
