Brazil’s DTH operator Sky Brasil has launched a fixed broadband offer using TD-LTE in the 2.5-GHz band, in four cities in Ceara -- Fortaleza, Caucaia, Eusebio and Maracanau-- and two in Maranhao -- Sao Louis and Sao Jose do Ribamar -- and in Camacari, Bahia state, Telecompaper has reported, quoting Teletime.

The operator is providing 4G fixed Internet at 2-Mbps and 4-Mbps in the Federal District and in at least 31 cities in the states of Sao Paulo, Bahia, Sergipe, Pernambuco, Espirito Santo, Alagoas, Paraiba, Para, Maranhao, Rio Grande do Norte, and Ceara.
