Lithuanian mobile operator Omnitel has expanded its LTE network coverage in southern Lithuania to the towns of Marijampole, Simnas, Kalvarija and Lazdijai, Telecompaper.com reported on Wednesday.

The LTE network currently reaches more than 40 percent of the country\'s people, with LTE services accessible over smartphones, tablets, modems and routers. Omnitel began its LTE services in April 2011.
