Netflix and Verizon Communications have reached an agreement on providing improved Netflix video streaming to the Internet provider\'s customers, Pcmag.com reports, explaining that, as was the case with its February agreement with Comcast, Netflix will pay for access to Verizon\'s broadband network, providing a direct connection for subscribers.

The news broke on Monday, when an analyst, Walter Piecyk, tweeted that, "Verizon CEO confirms they have signed direct connection deal with Netflix like Comcast\'s." The two companies later confirmed the report via Twitter, but remained mum on the terms of the deal, which is intended to improve Netflix’s streaming experience for Verizon users.
