Airtel has now extended its 4G services to Ludhiana, India, the fifth city to get the services, Tech.firstpost.com reports, noting that, as is the case in other cities, the telcom provider has worked with Apple and will be offering the 4G services for iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c users, who will need to upgrade to a universal SIM or 4G SIM, which Airtel has crafted several packages for. The special packs include a 995-rupee ($17) plan for mobile users and 999-rupee pack for postpaid mobile, dongle and CPEs. Both plans offer 10-GB of 4-G data for a month.

In addition to the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c, Airtel 4G services can also be accessed on the Xolo LT 900 and LG G2. Airtel 4G dongles are available for 1,500 rupees and the modem is priced at 2,500 rupees. Users can take home a free 4-G SIM by purchasing a dongle. Users who don’t want to buy a dongle or CPE can purchase the SIM card for 49 rupees.
