Orange reaches 74% LTE coverage
Orange Luxembourg has announced that it has increased its 2G, 3G and 4G network coverage by deploying eight new base transceiver stations (BTS) in the country, reports Telegeography.com, noting that 2G coverage now stands at 99.9 percent, while its 3G signal covers 95 percent of the duchy.
Meanwhile, Orange’s 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network now serves 74 percent of Luxembourg. Going forward, the operator says that it’s targeting 90 percent LTE coverage by the end of 2015, but will need certain authorization to allow it to increase the density of its rollout.
