Si.mobil, a Slovenian mobile operator, has developed its LTE network to the Gorenjska region. The operator intends to end this year with LTE coverage of 75 percent of the Slovenian population, which includes all of Slovenia’s cities, Telecompaper.com reported on Aug 25. LTE technology is currently used in more than 50 Slovenian towns, including the so-called white spots - areas completely without broadband. Areas covered by LTE technology in the wider area of the Gorenjska region include Bled, Bohinj, Brnik, Cerklje in Gorenjska, Kranj and Kranjska Gora.
