Colombian MVNO Virgin Mobile aims to offer 4G services in the future, Comunidad Ola reports, citing company CEO Juan Guillermo Velez. The executive said that the announcement of the launch of 4G will depend on the negotiations with Movistar. Virgin Movil Colombia reached a total of 856,474 subscribers by end-March, up from 440,667 subscribers by end-2013, according to the country\'s ICT Ministry. Virgin Mobile ended the first quarter of the year with a market share of 1.66 percent of the country\'s overall mobile telephony base. Virgin Mobile had launched operations in Colombia in April 2013. The company provides mobile services through an agreement with Colombian mobile operator Movistar.
