Proximus lowers 4G speeds on cheaper plans
Proximus has lowered the speed of 4G services for customers on cheaper plans, Telecompaper.com reports, noting that customers with subscriptions costing EUR 45 per month or more continue to receive a maximum speed of 129 Mbps. Customers with lower plans receive up to 25 Mbps, the operator told VTM Nieuws. In January Proximus opened up the 4G network to customers at no extra cost, after previously reserving the LTE network for top customers. At the time it said that after six months, the highest speeds would be available only for customers spending more than EUR 45 per month.
