Deutsche Telekom has had to switch off five LTE 800 MHz masts on the Flensburger Firth as they were causing interference with telecommunications in neighboring Denmark, Telecompaper.com reported on Aug 27. The antennae between Harrislee and Niesgrau had only been activated last year. Other masts have had their power reduced. Deutsche Telekom spokeswoman Stefanie Halle said only those masts with northerly transmission had been shut off. She could not say when LTE services from those antennae would be resumed.
