Vodafone Czech Republic is offering customers unlimited mobile data for two months in a Christmas promotion, Telecompaper.com reports on Nov 13, 2014. Customers with a data subscription will not face any restrictions on the amount of the data they use from 13 November to 15 January. At the end of the period they will see if they used more of less than their usual subscription and can change plans if needed. Prepaid customers can sign up for a basic subscription and test out the service during the promotional period.

Vodafone offers HSPA internet to 95 percent of the country and has pledged to have LTE available to all the major cities by summer 2015. The operator is also offering discounted LTE smartphones during the holiday period from CZK 1 with certain plans. The Christmas campaign will feature ads with ice skating and the slogan \'We\'re covered, let the free ride begin\'. The figure skater Tomas Verner stars in the ads, which will run on TV, outdoor and online channels.
