Moroccan Operator Wana Corporate, which operates under the Inwi brand, has become the country\'s second mobile operator to launch LTE tests after Maroc Telecom, Telecompaper.com reports on Nov 13, 2014. Announcing the tests at a press conference in Mohammedia on 11 November, CEO Frederic Debord said that his company would take part in the upcoming LTE auction depending on its terms, the most important being infrastructure sharing and the license cost. Rather than investing in laying fiber, Inwi wants to be able to access Maroc Telecom\'s infrastructure and to focus its investment on improving service quality and content development, he said. The government\'s 2015 budget anticipates MAD 1.5 billion of revenue from the LTE license auction.
