Vodafone UK is in early stage talks with Sky to offer its upcoming TV service on Sky\'s Now TV internet streaming set-top box, Telecompaper.com writes on Nov 18, 2014. Vodafone already offers the Sky Sports channels on mobile phones as part of its LTE bundles and has recently introduced Now TV as an alternative for mobile access to Sky Atlantic and Sky Movies channels. Vodafone announced last week that it would enter the broadband and TV market in spring 2015, which gives it limited time to develop its own pay TV service, according to the report, which sees an alliance with Sky and Now TV as an obvious choice. The talks are understood to be at a preliminary stage and Vodafone is considering other options.
