Japanese mobile operator NTT Docomo will extend its LTE roaming service, as of Sept 25, by adding Taiwan and the UK to its list of available countries, according to Telecompaper.com of Sept 24, which notes that Docomo will also add Spain, the Canary Islands and Spanish North Africa, by joining a cooperative effort of Conexus Mobile Alliance and Vodafone, bringing the total number of countries covered to 20. Docomo has also announced it will expand its inbound LTE roaming service by Sept 25, to 27 countries and regions by adding Hong Kong, Singapore, Germany, Turkey, and Romania.
