The Russian mobile operator MTS has started its LTE network in the Kurgan region, reports Telecompaper.com on Sept 24, and explaining that service of up to 75-Mbps is now available in the city and in nearby villages. MTS currently provides LTE services in over 40 areas in the Kurgan, Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk and Tyuimen regions in the Urals.
